Born and raised in Austin, Texas, my journey with golf began early thanks to my grandmother sneaking me onto her course during quiet Florida mornings. Back in Austin, I spent countless hours at Lion’s Municipal Golf Course, where I learned not just how to play the game, but how to connect with people —paired with strangers and learning life lessons one round at a time.

Throughout high school, I competed in various junior circuits including the Southern Texas PGA (STPGA), American Junior Golf Association (AJGA), Texas Legends Junior Tour, and ATX Junior Tournaments. Like many young athletes, I dreamed of playing in college, but the pressure I placed on myself made the game feel more like a job, and I eventually lost my passion for it.

I pursued my education at Texas Tech University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and a master’s in Sport Management. During that time, fitness became my main focus, and golf took a back seat. After graduation, I returned to Austin to coach and train full-time in fitness, later stepping into the corporate world.

Still, golf always found its way back into my life. From working as a high school bag boy at a private club, to selling residential putting greens and caddying during the COVID pandemic, to managing East Glacier Park Lodge Golf Course in Montana—I’ve worn many hats in the industry. 

Today, I serve as the Assistant Golf Professional at Volcano Golf Course in Hawaii while pursuing my PGA membership through the PGM program.

Golf has taught me more than how to swing a club—it’s shown me the value of community, resilience, and service. My mission is to use the game as a platform to make a positive impact wherever life might take me.
